Thank you for your interest in advertising / renewing your advertising with Imperfectly Natural. We would like to offer you the chance to have your logo on Janey Lee Grace’s Imperfectly Natural Directory on www.imperfectlynatural.com

One of the main advantages of being on board is that you have the personal endorsement of Janey and are associated with her success through best selling Imperfectly Natural series of books and her high profile in the media where she is fast becoming the ‘Queen’ of recommendations for all things natural and eco.

Just to clarify your annual fee includes;

Your clickable logo and URL will be featured in Janey’s Directory. If you are sending us your logo, please send it in JPEG, GIF or animated GIF to Elaine Email aj2008@ntlworld.com Please also copy the email to janey@imperfectlynatural.com

Please place our Janey Recommends button (at the top of this page) on your website to link our sites together.

Your listing will have a one sentence description of your choice (max 25 words works best) which you feel is the best way to describe what you do and draw people to your site so please let us know if you would like to change that.

Please email your description and your logo to Attn. of Elaine janey@imperfectlynatural.com Below your description, Janey will give her personal endorsement of your company or specific product or service. Please note that for an increased annual fee you could have a rotating banner on the home page in addition to your directory advertisement.

Janey’s tips

Included in the fee, you will have an opportunity to be included in Janey’s fortnightly tip sheet at least once in a 12 month period. It goes out by email to our very ‘dedicated’ subscribers (currently approaching 10,000) who hang on Janey’s every word (no pressure then!) and includes links to your own website and phone number if appropriate.

This can take the form of

A. ‘ money off’ promotion for one month with your promotional code (discounts that work great are between 10 and 20 per cent across the range)

B. A ‘giveaway’ competition where you offer one or more prizes and of course get a mention the following month too when the winner is announced. This creates 2 advertising splashes over a two month period. We collate and choose winners, supply you with their details, and ask you to send their prizes.

C. A general ‘big-up’ by Janey when appropriate to direct traffic to your site.

D. We are now offering the chance to sponsor each e-zine and have your logo incorporated into the Janeys tips logo at the top and bottom of each e-zine. This will incur an extra fee, please contact us for details.

Please note while we endeavour to include as many companies as possible in their desired e-zine of choice, we remain in control of this and decisions regarding which companies are promoted each month remains with Imperfectly Natural. Please do let us know your preferred date though, and we invite you to email us with your ideas for offers and competitions that would appeal to our subscribers.

We run several front page website Competitions over the course of the year which are very popular, so for the ‘cost’ of a free gift you get a great advertising and awareness building opportunity on the front page of Janey’s site which has over half a million hits per month, and we invite companies to send us suggestions. Please note the visitors are attracted to really great gifts! Please look at the front page to see the current competitions.

Features

We invite you if you haven’t already, to submit a personalised feature and photographs for our features section about your company / activities. This must be informative and interesting and personal and must not appear like advertising copy though we will of course include your website link. Between 600 and 1000 words. Editorial control remains with Imperfectly Natural. Your website link will again be included in the article.

Featured website

This changes approximately weekly and is fairly random and at the discretion of Imperfectly Natural but you do have an opportunity to appear there on the front page – Please remind us !!!

What really works

We occasionally get emails from satisfied customers who are grateful for the recommendations so will sometimes ask them to write a piece for 'What really works' You could also supply us with this information if you have ‘testimonials’ from customers but again we retain editorial control and it mustn’t look like an ad. This section tends to work best for fairly ‘unusual’ products and for holistic therapies

TV / Radio / Press /

Some companies are lucky enough to have their products mentioned on the radio if it comes up in conversation or shown on TV but this is entirely at the discretion of individual producers. Janey is also occasionally able to recommend products in articles she writes for magazines and newspapers but this is entirely at the discretion of the editors. (similarly with her books)

Janey also often gets to hear in advance what other journalists are researching, often for national newspapers and magazines. If she sees an opportunity that may work for you she will pass that on to you to contact the publication yourself and where appropriate she will contact the journalist to recommend you personally.

Unfortunately these ‘mentions’ and ‘recommendations’ cannot be included as a guarantee in the ‘package’ as it would be impossible to fulfil but we have many delighted companies who have benefited from this, and Janey’s high profile in the media.
