The American Institute of Cancer Research and the World Cancer Research Fund inform that up to 70% of all cancers can be avoided by making modest, ongoing changes in what we eat and how we live. While we are all educated about the ‘don’t smoke’, ‘don’t get sunburnt’, ‘get recommended mammograms’ anti-cancer strategies, few of us are aware that between 30-60% of all cancers can be related to poor diet and that the foods we consume on a daily basis play a significant causative role. Below are the 10 top nutritional tips that can significantly decrease your risk of getting cancer. Although still more research is needed to confirm this, several studies suggest those dietary changes could help cancer survivors reduce the chance of a secondary tumour or a recurrence. 1.
